florence + the machine's 'dog days are over' always motivates me to do whatever i need to get done. i just can not stay still when this song is on. it was the first song on my ipod at work this morning, and i'm dancing in my seat. a great start to the day!

oh land is such a fun band. i was lucky enough (thanks to the fine sisters!) to see them open for sia last year. i find their songs so deliciously pop-y and catchy. enjoy two from them!

whitney houston was one of my idols when i was little. i'd stay up all night choreographing dances to each of her songs. i think i had 12 routines for this song alone.



funny but true- "the bodyguard" soundtrack was the first cd i ever bought with my turtle's stamps!
