chaos is coming for me...

and his name is fiscal year-end close. it's fast approaching (shit! it's next monday!), and work has been absolutely chaotic with everyone's last minute shenanigans. never mind trying to politely mention that they should've come to me with this in january when they first spotted the error. no, no nevermind logic because we've got books to close. over the 4-ish years i've worked in this field, fiscal period ends are always times when shit hits the fan regardless of all the preparation i thought i put into it. giddyup!
