not since elementary school have i made a faster bff. bella has been my excitement for over 3 months now with no end in sight. we're on to our third attempt with proper leash walking, but much more optimistic thanks to a new training collar. and we're still curbing her jumping on everyone but not with much progress. but despite some minor setbacks, she's become one of my favorite things. i do still get overwhelmed by the responsibility and frustrated that i am on her schedule more rigidly than my own, but i'm coming around and settling in slowly. i can say for certainty that it's been the biggest change in our lives in a few years. and i'm pretty happy with how d and i have handled it. together.
